FREE Kevin Sutherland Golf Clinic at Play Golf America Day by Frank LaRosa, ESPN 1320’s Golf To Go

There are lots of reasons to take up the game of golf not the least of which is playing on the same beautiful courses as the best players in the world–sometimes even the day after a thrilling tournament finish. Chances are you won’t ever slam dunk like Kobe Bryant, hit a baseball like Albert Pujols, or throw a touchdown like Peyton Manning but you can make a par or even a birdie on the same hole as Phil Mickelson and if by chance you make a hole in one, nobody in the world can do better than that!

Whether you’re an avid player, a senior golfer, a junior golfer, or have never touched a club, Play Golf America Day will fit you to a tee. Play Golf America Day is sponsored by the Northern California PGA, the PGA of America and Haggin Oaks Golf Complex where the event will be held on June 11 from 8am to noon.

This free fun-filled day will offer complimentary instruction from Northern California PGA and LPGA professionals, free range balls, free prize drawings, and more. The Arcade Creek Golf Course at Haggin Oaks will offer a special $8 green fee for nine holes for attendees. Experts will discuss easy ways to get involved in the game, lesson programs, equipment choices, and how to get more fun out of the game.

Sacramento PGA TOUR professional Kevin Sutherland will also be on hand to conduct a free golf clinic for the home-town fans. Play Golf America Day will be held Friday June 11 from 8am to noon at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, Fulton Avenue at the Capital City Freeway. The event will be fun and will be free.
