The Northern California Institute of Golf provides an athlete-centered approach to improving a student’s game. Golf Coaches are trained to understand not only technical swing techniques but perhaps more importantly, the human skills of golf. We build long-lasting, trustworthy relationships while having the student understand the most important aspects of the game and practice habits for effective results.
Improvement in golf happens through a systematic “Step by Step” process focusing on development that allows golfers to develop and participate no matter what level they currently may be and no matter what their golfing aspirations and goals might be. What step are you on? What step would you like to achieve? Follow the Northern California Institute of Golf’s “Step by Step” approach and reach your true potential!

Are you ready to start your self-discovery journey with the first class in a new series we are starting that will focus on your mental approach to the game. Coaches Ken and Phil to improve your game? We will work on Shot Focus, Visualization, Pre-shot Routine, Shot Commitment, Body Awareness, and Staying in the Moment
HUMAN SKILLS “THE PERFORMANCE ROUTINE”: “The players who put action on things under their control, are more often those who achieve the outcomes they want. The only way to shoot low scores and get the outcomes you want is to get very good at actions under your control in the present moment. These are actions you can do in the THINK BOX, PLAY BOX, MEMORY BOX, or BETWEEN SHOTS.” Vision54 After learning about the Think Box, Play Box and Memory Box, participants will learn how to put it all together and create a Performance Routine for use on the course. This interactive class based on the principles of Vision54, will help you create a routine that will help you take your best game to the course.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: This program is all about improvement in a fun, social environment while creating consistency in your practice habits by attending each week.
PROPER PUTTING: Do you spend time practicing putting and continue to miss too many short putts on the course? Are the number of 3 putts driving up your score? Come spend 90 minutes with Ed to learn proper putting practice routines that will produce maximum improvement in a minimal amount of time.
PROPER PUTTING: This clinic will focus on improving performance for those short but difficult shots around the green by delving into proper short game fundamentals.
