Arcade Creek Course

36-Holes Guarantee You’ll Find Your Favorite Kind Of Golf At Haggin Oaks!

ArcadeCreek_WelcomeSignWith two championship golf courses, several different tee placements and two distinct layouts, you’re sure to find your game at Haggin Oaks. The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex intentionally offers two distinct layouts (Arcade Creek, the developmental course and the showcase, MacKenzie Golf Course) to appeal to every skill level and to ensure that you receive the exact golf experience you’re looking for.

The Arcade Creek Golf Course is a relatively flat layout designed and built to be friendly to every skill level. The front nine was opened to the public in 1957 with the back nine opening in 1958. The course can still be played as either a nine-hole track or 18-hole regulation round which makes it ideal for beginners, walkers and leagues.

Arcade Creek does run through the course, but rarely poses too much in the way of an obstacle. The whole intention of Arcade Creek Golf Course is to ease beginners into the game by placing the middle tees at a relatively short 6552 yards and making all of the greens large and accessible even for those who have trouble getting the ball airborne.

As with the MacKenzie track, the Arcade Creek course is nicely framed by beautiful heritage oaks and is a great escape from the noise and commotion of the city. Once you’re off the first tee and into your game, you’ll find yourself in an oasis of peace and tranquility in this island among freeways. There are no houses on the course which ensures the completeness of your escape.

If you’re after a more traditional and difficult golf challenge, the MacKenzie course is waiting for you. But if you’re looking to work on your game, or you’re in the process of developing your swing, or you’re brand new to the game and want to take your lessons to the course, Arcade Creek is the course for you.
