A Little Haggin Oaks History
Arcade Creek has been part of Sacramento golf for generations. The course was designed by Mac McDonagh, who worked alongside legendary golf course architect Alister MacKenzie before serving for decades as Sacramento’s Superintendent of Golf.
Today, the course remains framed by Haggin Oaks’ heritage oak trees, with Arcade Creek itself winding through the property. With no houses lining the fairways, it can feel surprisingly removed from the city once you’re out on the course.
