The City Play Card Provides Privileges and Perks for Adults, Juniors and Seniors
Purchasing a City Play Card is an easy and affordable loyalty rewards program designed to save you money on green fees.
The card costs only $40 per year (valid one year from the date of purchase) and entitles players to discounts on green fees.
- Adult Cardholders: Up to 10% Off Green Fee and Cart rates every day of the week
- Senior Cardholders: Up to 20% Off Green Fee and Cart rates – Age 60+
- Junior Cardholders: Up to 50% Off Green Fee and Cart rates – Age 17 & Under
Also, Junior Cardholders can take advantage of our Kids Play Free Promotion, with a paying adult golfer.
Kids Play Free with a City Play Card and a Paying Adult
Get juniors out on the course with Sacramento City Golf’s Kids Play Free program. With a Junior Play Card ($40 per year), kids 18 and under play free at all Sac City Golf courses when accompanied by a paying adult. The card is valid for one full year from purchase, making it a simple and affordable way to play more often.
In 2026, juniors can play any day, any time with the card. In 2027, play is available any day after 11 AM.
At Bing Maloney Express 9, kids play free with no card required and no paying adult required. This option is open to juniors 18 and under and is available seven days a week, any time.
Juniors, seniors and all adults must purchase a City Golf Play Card in order to receive green fee discounts. City Play Cards are good 12 months from date of purchase.

Policies and Procedures for Making Tee Time Reservations
- Same day tee time reservations can be made by:
- Internet reservations through our website
- Calling the golf shop directly
- City Play Cards are non-transferable. If you made the reservation and you are not playing in the group, you should cancel the tee time and have one of your partners call and reserve it.
Commonly Asked Questions About Tee Times at Haggin Oaks
Do I have to purchase a City Play Card to make advance reservations?
No.
What if I reserve a tee time and can’t play, but the rest of my group wants to play?
Call the golf shop at least 1 hour prior to your tee time and tell them that you will not play, but your partners will.
Will I be penalized if my entire group does not show up to play?
No. Please call the starter if you are not going to have a full group, so the tee time can be filled with a player from our waiting list.

Introducing New Affordable Junior Rates at the Sac City Golf Courses
The Sacramento City Golf Courses are proud to introduce new lower junior rates designed to make the game of golf more affordable and accessible for young players and their families. We understand the financial challenges many families are facing today, and these reduced rates reflect our commitment to growing the game by giving more juniors the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy golf in a welcoming community environment.
Each rate below does not require a junior card & is valid after 1pm, 7 days a week for kids 18 years and younger. These rates are good for public play as well as group events.

Kids Play Free Any Day at Any Time - Land Park & Arcade Creek GC – After 1pm, 9 holes walking
$15 on Weekdays / $20 on Weekends - Bartley Cavanaugh & Bing Maloney GC – After 1pm, 18 holes walking
$25 on Weekdays / $30 on Weekends - Alister MacKenzie & Arcade Creek GC – After 1pm, 18 holes walking
$25 on Weekdays / $30 on Weekends
As junior golfers enter the game, they are encouraged to enroll in the popular Youth on Course Program. The City of Sacramento Golf Courses offer Youth on Course rates – $5 for 18 holes, or $3 for 9 holes, 7 days a week after 1pm.
