Experience the Random Golf Club Mad Scramble Tour at Haggin Oaks with 100 golfers, a PING Demo Day, and an unforgettable Friday night on the course.

Get ready, Sacramento. Random Golf Club’s Mad Scramble Tour is making its way to Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Friday, August 21, bringing one of the most unique and community-driven golf events in the country to one of Northern California’s most iconic public courses.
If you’ve never experienced a Mad Scramble, this is the perfect place to do it.
The idea is simple: 100 golfers, one team, nine unforgettable holes. Everyone hits each shot, the group chooses the best ball, and then everyone plays from there. It’s less about your score and more about sharing the course, celebrating great shots, and enjoying a round unlike anything you’ve played before.
And there’s no better place to do it than Haggin Oaks.
Designed by legendary golf architect Alister MacKenzie and welcoming golfers since 1932, Haggin Oaks has long been a place where the game brings people together. That’s exactly what the Mad Scramble is all about. Whether you’re coming with friends or signing up on your own, you’ll spend the evening walking the same historic fairways alongside 99 other golfers who simply love the game.
Make a Day of It
The fun starts before the first tee shot.
From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., PING will host a Demo Day on the driving range and putting green, giving golfers the opportunity to test the latest clubs, compare equipment, and get a feel for what’s new. There’s no pressure to buy, just a chance to swing the newest gear before the event begins.
Check-in opens at 4:00 p.m., with the Mad Scramble teeing off at 5:00 p.m. As the sun begins to set over Haggin Oaks, 100 golfers will make their way around one of California’s most beloved public golf courses together, creating an atmosphere that’s equal parts golf, community, and celebration.
When the final putt drops, the evening keeps going.
Head back to the driving range for a DJ-led after party, where you can enjoy music, hit a few more balls, grab a drink, and hang out with fellow golfers. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a summer evening at Haggin Oaks.
