Song Suffragettes to Play Golf and Guitars Concert on Monday, October 17

The Song Suffragettes Collective will be joining us for our Golf and Guitars, Monday Night VIP Singer Songwriter Showcase !

The all-female singer-songwriter collective titled Song Suffragettes, is a one-hour weekly acoustic showcase featuring up-and-coming female country artists. The stellar showcase creates greater opportunities for females in the music industry to be noticed and heard. Over 250 female artists have contributed to the popular collective, and we are lucky to have eight of these talented women join us for Monday Night’s Golf and Guitars Concert.

BONNER BLACK

Raised on a farm in the Tennessee Valley, Singer/Songwriter, Bonner Black, bends genres like sunlight through water to create a rainbow of sound filtered through her experiences and observations. Her influences range from Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Sheryl Crow to Taylor Swift, Ruston Kelly, and Miley Cyrus. She independently released a 6 song EP, “Out of Dreams” based on the five stages of grief that was featured in People.com and placed on Today’s Singer Songwriters and Breaking Singer Songwriters on both Spotify and Apple Music. She is currently recording an album set to be released in the summer of 2023.  

EMILY BROOKE

Emily Brooke is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from South Florida and has opened for acts such as Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, and Ryan Hurd among many others. Her debut single “Easy On Me” caught viral attention on TikTok in 2021 currently accruing over 2 million streams. With many viral streaming singles since then, Emily’s style is sweet & sassy with an edge, is making a powerful combination in her songwriter & artistry.

HALEY MAE CAMPBELL

New York-born and South Carolina-raised, Haley Mae Campbell is a true combination of city-slicker and storyteller. Her viral hit “Never Been in Love” debuted at #1 on the All Genre iTunes chart, and has been heard over 45 million times across social media platforms, with videos featured on CMT and more!

LYDIA DALL

Lydia Dall is a multi-genre songwriter and Belmont Alum from southern Illinois.  Writing full-time since 2017, Lydia Dall has become a well-known name in Nashville’s independent country scene. She is best described as a writing chameleon and fits into most any room, bringing her heartfelt, authentic lyrics with her.  Lydia has written with many known Nashville names such as Tenille Arts, Spencer Crandall, Abby Anderson, Ian McConnell, Brooke Alexx, Haley Mae Campbell, and more.

JILLIAN DAWN

Jillian Dawn is a Nashville-based indie pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her acoustic-driven and soulful sound adopts a coming of age and heartbreak narrative. Following her recent release, “how simple this all started,” graduation from the Frost School of Music (U of Miami), and signing her first major management deal with FRNDLY Media, the Massachusetts native has been touring the country and collaborating with Nashville’s most promising talent on a highly-anticipated body of work.

KAYLIN ROBERSON

Kaylin Roberson is a country artist with Carolina roots. She was featured on Season 20 of American Idol, making it to the top 40 and has accumulated nearly 5 million streams on Spotify as a songwriter. After moving to Nashville 3 years ago, she has had music videos featured on CMT.com, nearly 20 outside song cuts, and landed her first publishing deal with world renown Peer Music Group. Her influences range from classics like Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and Allison Kraus, to newer artists on the scene like HARDY, Sam Hunt, and Maren Morris. 

JULIE WILLIAMS

Julie Williams is turning heads in Nashville’s country music scene with songs that tell the stories she wished to hear as a mixed race child. A regular host of The Song Suffragettes, Julie was named in Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Class of 2021, featured on She Wolf Radio’s Ones 2 Watch list and her single Southern Curls was covered by Billboard, CMT, PBS NewsHour, and numerous music publications. Having opened for acts such as RaeLynn and Mt. Joy, Julie tours with the Black Opry Revue, a showcase of Black artists in country, blues, folk, and Americana music, and performed with the group at CMA Fest 2022 in Nashville. Julie is traveling the country – and globe – on her first solo tour this summer, with performances in London, Nashville, Charlotte, Washington, D.C, Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.

OLIVIA FAYE
Olivia Faye is a season 20 American Idol alumna, singer/songwriter, and actress/voice-over talent. After moving to Nashville from Kentucky at 19, Olivia quickly acclimated to a life in Music City as a songwriter and performer. Her smooth, bluesy vocals and catchy tunes have won her numerous invitations to perform throughout Nashville and beyond, her favorite being Fox and Locke of Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee where she is a regular. Olivia has been a featured opener for Travis Tritt, Alabama, Mark Chesnutt, Phil Vassar, Paul Thorne and Johnny Mac. She was just named as one of the best-up-and-coming talented artists to watch on Nashville Rising’s Spotify playlist.
