“There’s a saying among the panelists that the best day of the year is the day you get the email requesting your participation in the Golf Digest Hot List.”

SIR Tuesday Morning Golfers Group Growing the Game With Community

Every week over the past 3 years the SIR Tuesday morning golfers men’s group has gone out to William Land Golf Course at 9 am every Tuesday morning to play a round of 9 holes of golf.

This group consists of around 20 men who go out every week to improve their golf skills and grow the game through the community.

And, because they have had so much fun and want to share it with others, they have also thought about helping to start a women’s group as well to help more women get into the game and create a community together.

Over the years, the relationships that have been built and the fun that they have had seems like something that is definitely worth sharing!

Over time they have picked up more men looking to play golf in a group and have grown it to the point that they have multiple groups going out every week.

Who knows where this group will go from here, but regardless, we at Morton Golf and William land Golf Course are grateful that William land is the course that this group has chosen to call home!
