Our goal at the start of the season was to be one of the best teams in the state and we showed that by making it all the way to compete with the best. I can’t wait for next year to continue to play with my guys and try to go back to state again.”
Rocklin High Golf also had two participants in the tournament: senior Luke Price, who scored 76, and Josh Leiker, who recorded an 81. The individual state championship title was won by Luke Powell, from Capistrano Valley Christian, who had a stellar performance shooting seven-under-par, 64.
Congratulations to Granite Bay Boys’ Golf Team! We wish all of them the best of luck and hope to see them in the CIF State Championship again next year.
