TaylorMade AeroBurner Debut at Haggin Oaks

From the name that’s always delivered distance through speed, comes the AeroBurner metalwoods. Featuring the largest Speed Pocket ever.

TaylorMade’s newest clubs focus on speed and distance.

The AeroBurner driver, fairway and rescue woods feature an advanced aerodynamic shape designed with a rounder toe, raised center crown and new hosel fin to deliver maximum distance. The new and improved Speed Pocket increases the size of the sweet spot and reduces spin.

To assist with the aerodynamics, the club features a small fin — present on drivers, fairway woods and hybrids—in the heel area of the club to reduce drag. A raised center on the crown, as well as a more rounded toe, also are designed to help get the club through the air more efficiently. TaylorMade designed the AeroBurner driver without an adjustable hosel sleeve, which would add weight. Total weight of the AeroBurner is less than 300 grams.

According to Brian Bazzell, TaylorMade’s senior director of product creation for metalwoods, AeroBurner “drastically improved the performance of the sole’s speed pocket and significantly improved the aerodynamics to deliver maximum speed.”
