In the Fall 2011 edition of NCGA Golf Magazine, Ron Salsig has an article entitled “Searching For the Best Golf Values in Northern California” where he mentions the MacKenzie Course at Haggin Oaks as a true bargain that only costs “$47 to play 18 magnificent holes.”
