Brain Tumor Awareness Month starts later this week, and Jones’n for a Cure is ready to #GoGrayInMay by announcing the 8th Annual Jones’n for a Cure Golf Tournament to be held Monday, September 22, 2025, at Haggin Oaks in Sacramento.
About Jones’n For A Cure
Jones’n for a Cure is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity (EIN No. 82-5189128) foundedd by Rick’s wife Christy and a few of his close friends to honor his memory. A golf tournament has been a great way to turn something tragic into something good for others. Rick and Christy always believed there had to be a way to help find a cure and support other people dealing with this awful disease. To date, they’ve donated over $310,000 to the National Brain Tumor Society in support of a shared mission.
Along the way, they’ve also met so many others who have been impacted by brain tumors and hope fundraising can help them in their journey.
The Board and tournament committee look forward to a great day of golf, raising money for a great cause, and building on previous success!
