GoPro Camera Makes an Incredible Bunker Shot – It’s In the Hole!

Have you ever wondered what your bunker shot looks like – from the perspective of the golf ball? If so, then you need to check out the fun that was had when Dave Phillips, founder of the Titleist Performance Institute and PGA Professional, hit a GoPro camera out of a bunker at the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside CA.

Basically, Phillips put the GoPro camera in the bunker and used his sand wedge to hit it out. I think it is pretty cool that the camera rotates just like a golf ball would until it actually drops into the hole! It took Phillips 8 tries to get the GoPro camera to hole the shot. I’m not quite sure if I’m more impressed that he made the shot after ONLY 8 tries or that the same GoPro camera was used for all of those takes.
