Round Up Your Change for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at Morton Golf April 1 – April 14, 2018

Morton Golf is proud to be part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man & Women of the Year Campaign to support Ryan Maddox and Team “All In For Earl”.

Ryan is the General Manager for Hornet Sports Properties at Sacramento State. Ryan’s grandfather, Earl Maddox, lost his battle with cancer recently. Team “All In For Earl” hopes to raise over $50,000, and name a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society research grant in honor of Earl Maddox.

At Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney and Bartley Cavanaugh we will be encouraging our customers to “round up their change” to support LLS. This campaign will go from April 1st through April 14th. At each register, our cashiers will be asking:

“Would you like to round up your change for LLS?”

What is the Man & Woman of the Year?

Man & Woman of the Year is philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local children who are blood cancer survivors.

The man and woman who have raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign are awarded the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in their community. The man and woman who have raised the most across the entire US will be recognized as the national Man and Woman of the Year.

All donations are GREATLY appreciated and tax deductible. They’ll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Thanks to support from people in the community advancements in blood cancer treatments have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

On behalf of LLS, and Ryan Maddox, we thank you for your support
