Play Golf America Day Coming Up On June 11th At Haggin Oaks

If you’re looking for an excuse to take up the game of golf or return to the game, the free Play Golf America Day at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Friday, June 11 will fit you to a tee!

This fun-filled Play Golf America Day will offer free instruction by PGA and LPGA professionals from throughout Northern California, in addition to a special clinic conducted by Sacramento PGA TOUR Professional Kevin Sutherland. For beginners or to take off some of the winter rust for returning players, these free lessons will get you going in the right direction.

“We look forward to hosting Play Golf America Day because we see so many beginners who are searching for a low-pressure environment to learn to play golf,” explained Tom Morton, director of Player Performance at Haggin Oaks. “We expect many professionals from courses throughout our area to come and offer free lessons at this free event.”

Play Golf America Day will also offer free range balls on the Haggin Oaks driving range featuring the new Power Tee system which automatically tees the ball. The day will also include free drawings for equipment, lessons, rounds of golf, and more.

Play Golf America Day is sponsored by the Northern California PGA in conjunction with the PGA of America. These events are scheduled throughout America but the Northern California event has a reputation as one of the country’s best.
