Features and Benefits of the NEW TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver

Morton Golf’s Vice President of Retail and Marketing, Ken Morton, Jr., discusses the features and benefits of the recent launch of the new TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver.

TaylorMade_AeroBurnerThe TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver is a new design that results in some of the longest distance that TaylorMade has ever produced. They have taken aerodynamics to a new level with the introduction of this club.

What are the changes on this new club? Well for one, the toe is rounder and the club has a raised crown. This driver also features a Speed Pocket, allowing the face to compress which produces a larger sweet spot across the entire surface of the face. More importantly, this reduces the spin off the driver which will result in longer drives for nearly all golfers.

TaylorMade has also added a hosel fin to help improve aerodynamics. The hosel fin helps to reduce drag and increase clubhead speed by an extra 1-2 mph versus TaylorMade’s older designs.

If this isn’t enough, TaylorMade has also roughed out the crown to create less drag to make the club easier to pull through the impact zone, resulting in faster clubhead speed and ball speed.

Finally, the AeroBurner is the lightest driver TaylorMade has ever made. It weighs less than 300 grams. This is largely due to the ultralight shaft which weighs 50 grams. Golfers should be able to generate more clubhead speed with a lighter golf club, resulting in greater distance.
