3rd Annual Legends Stroke Play Championship Winners

The NCPGA Legends Championship at the classic Alister Mackenzie Golf Course on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 30-May 1, 2024.

Congratulations to Bob Old the Overall Winner!

Bob is 84 years young and shot 74 and 72 over the two day event. “Never thought I’d win another tournament.” Bob is quoted as saying after his win.

Chris Bitticks, PGA Professional and Event Organizer said, “This sums up the essence of the tournament. It’s something for those of us who still want to compete, making the event a success. The event itself is a reunion first, tournament second.”

Dave Bingham won the PGA Professional Division with a score of 74 and 74.

This was the biggest turnout to date with 45 player participants.

“The handicap for amateurs is 7.2 and we are really hoping to have a women’s division in the near future.” said Chris.

Congratulations to Bob and Dave! Well done!

The competition was stroke-play over 36 holes at scratch (18 holes each day). The first day had Professionals paired with Professionals and Amateurs with Amateurs. The second round was paired by score. See the results HERE.
