High School CIF San Joaquin Sectional Results

Early this morning (5/9/22), Sacramento Valley’s best high school golf teams descended on Elkhorn Country Club and battled some uncharacteristically strong spring winds to see who would qualify for the Masters round which then determines who goes on to NorCals. Masters will again be played at Elkhorn CC and then NorCals will be the following week at Berkley CC.

Qualifying for the next round was Davis HS at 396 led by Ryan Firpo’s 69, Jesuit HS at 396 led by Brady Siravo’s 74, Granite Bay HS at 399 led by Karson Kendelt’s 77, Lodi HS at 407 led by Jake Aberle’s 74, Rocklin HS at 414 led by Luke Prices’s 77 and another 414 by Stockton’s St. Mary’s HS.

Qualifying as an individual, Whitney High School’s Zach Pollo tied for medalist honors with another sizzling round of 69.

There were superstars all over the place – many of the game’s top players, on both sides of the ball – when Rick Jennings II got on to the practice field during training camp as a rookie for the Oakland Raiders in 1976.

Come and check-out the newly remodeled “PUTTING COURSE” next to the Driving Range at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Just recently all 9-holes of the “PUTTING COURSE” have been remodeled and are ready to “roll”.

Invite your family and friends of any age and test your putting skills.
