Congratulations to champion Reese Sato, a rising senior at Vista del Lago High School, with a 7 under score of 137. Finishing in second place was Casey Leebrick, having just completed his junior at Sacramento State, with a score of 6 under 138. Tied for 3rd Place, Zachery Pollo & Zachary Matzke shot 5 under for a 139. Saturday was a fantastic day to play golf and the scores reflected it. With 19 players coming in under par. On Sunday the wind came up and so did the scores. All the players that I talk to had praise for the golf course.
We also want to remind you about the Sacramento Men’s Player of the Year award the Golf Council implemented this year. Two points events are in the books (Memorial Am and Sac City Men’s Am) with two remaining events – the Sac County Men’s Am and the premier event, State Fair Championship.
