Morton Golf Foundation Alumni, Darla May Dela Torre, has had a remarkable first season with the Sacramento State women’s golf team.

Not only was she recently named Freshman of the Year in the Big Sky conference, she went out and finished tied for fourth overall on Wednesday in the Big Sky Championship.
Dela Torre shot rounds of 68, 73 and 72 for an even-par, three-day total of 213 at the Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She played a key role in Sacramento State winning its third straight Big Sky title. The Hornets outpaced Weber State in the team race by 15 strokes.
