Monday- 87th Sacramento Women’s City Championship- Congratulations to winners: Samantha Bruce, Karen Graser & Vicki Philpott

The 87th annual Sacramento City Women’s Golf Championship was played at Bing Maloney Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26, 2022 and was hosted by the Sacramento Golf Council.


Monday –72nd CA JR GIRLS’ STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Winners Ellie Bushnell & Sophie Thai

The 72nd CA Jr Girl’s State Championship took place at the Half Moon Bay Golf Club Ocean Course in Half Moon Bay, CA from June 20-24. The Championship was sponsored by The Committee for California Women’s Amateur Championships, Inc. (CWAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers dedicated to high quality and competitive championships for California’s women golfers.

Tuesday – First Tee Greater Sacramento Junior Golf Tour’s VALLEY HI CC Tournament Winners: Andrew Zhou, Hailey Peterson, Jayden Lizama, Taylor Baker, Karson Kindelt

The Valley High CC Tournament took place on June 27 at the Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, CA. The event was presented by Greater Sacramento Junior Tour, a year round competitive golf tournament program for boys and girls ages 12-18.


Thursday – iReliev Now At Haggin Oaks

We are excited to have the new iReliev products at the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop. The brand was designed by ExcelHealth which develops FDA cleared, consumer-friendly electrotherapy devices to meet a variety of needs, all in one innovative brand called iReliev®.


Thursday- First Tee- Greater Sacramento, ANCIL HOFFMAN GOLF COURSE JR TOURNAMENT Winners: Reid Bulman, Khloe Chao, Trenton Stuart, Gianna Singh, Karson Kendelt

The Ancil Hoffman Golf Course Jr Tournament occurred at the Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael, CA. The tournament was partly hosted by First Tee – Greater Sacramento, which improves the lives of young people in the greater Sacramento area by strengthening character and teaching life-enhancing values through the game of golf. Congratulations to all of the winners!


Saturday – Volunteer Profile – KATHY SCHNABEL, Player Assistant

Next time you come up to the Starter on the #1 Tee of MacKenzie Golf Course, look for Kathy Schnabel. She is the volunteer with a big smile as she checks you in and welcomes the golfers.
