Michael Bobbitt, PGA Associate, is the Assistant Golf Professional at Bing Maloney Golf Complex.
Michael Bobbitt has been employed with Morton Golf since March 2024.
He first started as a Starter / Cashier at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, and in a brief period, moved to Bing Maloney Golf Complex when a position opened there.
Before coming to Morton Golf, Michael was employed as a Police Officer in Fremont, CA for 16 years.
His interest in golf started 3 years ago when he retired from Law Enforcement and started to play golf with friends. His new love of golf has brought him into his newest career today.
When I asked Michael what some highlights in his life were, he smiled and quickly named three.
1. The birth of his two sons who are now ages 12 and 10.
2. The wonderful life he has with his wife of 3 years.
3. Having had the opportunity to work with his dad in law enforcement for 15 years in Fremont, CA.
When Michael is not working at Bing Maloney Golf Course or playing golf, his hobbies include bass fishing, camping, and coaching his two sons.
Michael is in the process of completing the PGM (Professional Golf Management) training.
