PRG Golf creates a unique tribute to the ‘cradle of golf’ in Sacramento

As one of Sacramento’s most beloved public golf courses, William Land Golf Course has been a cherished part of our community for generations. In celebration of its 100-year anniversary, the course is embarking on a visionary project designed to protect its legacy and enhance its future — the Master Plan Project.

This initiative not only highlights the course’s natural beauty and timeless design, but also marks the official launch of the Friends of William Land Golf Course, a newly formed non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and improving this historic course for decades to come.

To commemorate this milestone, a special edition headcover featuring the official Master Plan layout — a stunning artistic representation of the course’s past, present, and future. Each headcover was proudly manufactured by PRG, a local golf accessories company known for its premium craftsmanship and attention to detail. The design captures the artistry and legacy of William Land Golf Course, turning this collectible piece into a true celebration of Sacramento golf culture.

These limited-edition headcovers are now available for purchase in the William Land Golf Course Pro Shop while supplies last. Proceeds will help support the ongoing preservation and improvement efforts outlined in the Master Plan.
