Haggin Oaks Helps Gift of Life Fiji Charity Golf Tournament Break Records
At Haggin Oaks, we pride ourselves not only on being Sacramento’s home for golf—but also on being a home for giving back. One shining example of that is the recent Gift of Life Fiji Charity Golf Tournament, hosted right here at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. This incredible event shattered records and united a passionate group of golfers, sponsors, and volunteers—all rallying together for a life-changing cause.
A Record-Breaking Day of Giving
In just its second year, the tournament raised a staggering $117,000 in net proceeds (yes, that’s more than triple the previous record for a South Pacific charity golf event). The funds will go directly to support the new catheterization lab at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital Fiji, a vital medical project for children in the region. 🔎 Learn more about the Cath Lab Project.
To put it in perspective: the previous fundraising high for a charity golf event in the region was $33,000. Thanks to the generosity of nearly 200 golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, this year’s event more than tripled that benchmark.

Despite temperatures soaring above 100°F, every participant showed up with a smile and a sense of purpose. The tournament drew not just seasoned golfers, but people from all walks of life united by one goal: giving the gift of life to children in need.
