Starting Sunday, September 22, Haggin Oaks Driving Range is proud to launch the TopTracer: Bethpage Black Global Challenge — your chance to experience one of the toughest, most celebrated golf course layouts in the world, right from your driving stall.

Whether you’re aiming to test your mettle, sharpen your iron game, compete against friends, or simply have fun, this challenge is for you. Here’s everything you need to know:

What’s the Bethpage Black Global Challenge?

  • A virtual challenge in TopTracer’s “Global Challenge” series that recreates a hole (or multiple holes) from Bethpage Black — a legendary public course known for its brutal tee shots, dramatic terrain, and championship pedigree.
  • Haggin Oaks will be one of the participating venues where you can take part in the challenge locally, but your score also goes on the global TopTracer leaderboard.
  • All skill levels are welcome—this isn’t just for pros. Think of it like a mix of precision, power, and mental toughness.

When & Where is the Challenge

  • Launch date: Sunday, September 22
  • Location: Haggin Oaks Driving Range (front bays equipped with TopTracer monitors)
  • Hours: During normal driving range hours. (Check Haggin Oaks website for daily hours.)

How to Participate

  1. Head to Haggin Oaks Driving Range and pick a bay that has TopTracer technology (front range).
  2. Open your TopTracer Range account via your phone or on the bay monitor.
  3. Register for the Bethpage Black Global Challenge event either through the app or the event selection screen.
  4. Hit the designated Bethpage Black hole(s) — typically a par-3 or other signature shot (e.g. long iron, uphill, etc.). Your aim: get close, get consistent, get on the leaderboard.
  5. Check the global leaderboard through the TopTracer app to see how you stack up vs. other competitors. You can often retry the hole multiple times during the event period.

Prizes & Rewards

  • Local bragging rights: be one of the top scorers at Haggin Oaks? You’ll get recognition (posted leaderboard, featured on social media).
