Saving Strokes offers stroke survivors the opportunity to receive golf lessons in small group sessions. The program originated in Sacramento and has grown from five sites to fifteen sites. Saving Strokes events provide golf lessons to strike survivors through the help of caregivers, rehabilitation professionals and golf professionals who volunteer their time to make these events a success. The stroke survivor needs no previous golfing experience to attend an event. The goal is to get stroke survivors out and to have fun on the golf course.
