Mark your calendars: Sunday, September 7, 2025, the beloved 77th Annual Walter & Olga Strand Junior/Senior Chapman Scotch City Championship will tee off in Sacramento at the Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course.
What Is This Event?
This spirited 18-hole tournament invites dynamic duos of junior golfers aged 18 and under paired with senior partners who are least 15 years older in a Chapman Scotch format. Teams will follow the “Hit, Switch, and Choose” play style, requiring both collaboration and strategy.
Divisions:
- Handicap Division: For teams where both play have a GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network) index. Handicaps must be within 15 points of each other. The GHIN index as of September 1, 2025 will be used.
- Callaway Division: Designed for teams with no GHIN or only one GHIN golfer.
Registration & Fees
- Entry Fee: $149 per team this includes green fees, power cart, lunch, tee prizes, and awards.
- Registration Opens: June 1, 2025.
- Deadline: Strict deadline on August 29, 2025, or limited to the first 50 paid teams.
- Sign-Up: Senior partner must complete registration online.
