Please meet Steve Brooks, Club Repair Employee at Haggin Oaks
Steve Brooks has been a Morton Golf / Club Repair employee on and off for the past six years.
Steve started in the Club Repair department in 2012 through 2018. At that time, Steve decided to take some time off to enjoy retirement. After a six-year hiatus, Steve headed back into Club Repair in hopes of joining the Morton Golf Team once again.
Even though Steve was gone for almost six years, it was amazing how much of the Club Repair knowledge came back.
Before coming to Morton Golf, Steve was a Firefighter for the Federal Government. He had the honor of working on several military bases for over 25 years. Before that, he was in the Navy and enjoyed traveling the world.
Steve’s favorite thing is helping people and being around nature.
When Steve is not working at Morton Golf, he enjoys playing his Classical guitar. It is very soothing and puts everyone in a good mood.
Steven’s 15-year-old pure breed Dachshund dog, Tippy is his best friend.
He enjoys spending time with Tippy and taking him for walks.
In Steve’s past, he has always been the first person up and ready to jog five miles before work. He enjoys exercising and the lifestyle that it brings.
