PING Golf Introduces the G20 Driver

PING recently launched their new PING products at the PING national sales meeting in Phoenix, AZ and the buzz on the new products has been tremendous. For golfers looking to improve their distance, accuracy and consistency, the G20 Series will provide the equipment necessary to lower scores on the golf course. Here is a brief overview on the new G20 driver.

The Ping G20 Driver is designed for everyone – from touring professionals to high handicappers – the goal of all players is the same – to gain more distance and the new G20 delivers.

The Head
The new head design on the 460cc G20 driver benefits the player due to the external weighting that positions the CG low and back to promote high launch and low spin trajectory. The player benefits with increased distance and accuracy. The face is larger to increase MOI across the entire hitting surface. The 811 gray titanium gives the driver incredible strength and is incredibly lightweight.

The Shaft
The newest version of PING’s lightweight High Balance Point Shaft is the power source behind the club. With the CG positioned closer to the grip, this shaft is designed to increase energy, inertia and momentum and leads to longer and straighter drives. It is important that the CG is located near the grip, because the head can be heavier without increasing the swingweight or the overall weight of the driver. If the club’s overall weight doesn’t change, but mass is added to the head, voila – longer drives! The extra mass also increases MOI, making it more forgiving.

The driver hits golf shops on August 11th. Click HERE for ordering information from www.MortonGolfSales.com
