DIFFERENT AT ITS CORE.
Crisp, consistent impact, a solid feel and a flighted trajectory with added forgiveness are the result of an aerospace-grade aluminum insert joined to a forged 1025 carbon steel body and forged 17-4 SS laser-cut face. To reduce fliers in the short irons and preserve spin in the long irons, the face is engineered with MicroMax™ grooves, combining steeper sidewalls with tighter spacing to allow four extra grooves. The Hydropearl 2.0 finish repels water for predictable, consistent performance from wet and dry conditions.

THREE-PIECE FORGED DESIGN
Aerospace-grade aluminum core (1/3 density of stainless steel) combines with 1025 carbon steel body and 17-4 SS laser cut face to ensure trajectory control and precise shot-making.

ALUMICORE™ TECHNOLOGY
An aerospace-grade aluminum insert (1/3 the density of stainless steel) saves approximately 30 grams of material, allowing for tungsten toe and heel weights that elevate MOI to match that of the larger i210 iron, achieving a level forgiveness uncommon in a forged design. AlumiCore also contributes to the stable, solid feel at impact.

MICROMAX GROOVES
The fully machined face has new MicroMax™ grooves, combining steeper sidewalls with tighter spacing to accommodate four extra grooves for reducing fliers in the short irons and preserving spin in the long irons.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES:

  • Tour-preferred feel and styling
  • Forged, 1025 carbon steel body
  • AlumiCore Technology
     – Forged 17-4 stainless steel laser cut face

Glide Forged Pro Wedges

PRECISION FORGED.
In consultation with PING pros, we custom-engineered Glide Forged Pro for discerning shot-makers with a smaller, forged 8620 carbon steel head and precision-machined grooves for predictable, consistent results. A new face blast adds friction to increase spin and control across a newly expanded range of lofts and specialized sole grinds to fit your game.

SHOTMAKER’S PROFILE
The Tour-preferred shape is shorter heel-toe and through the hosel transition, accentuating the smaller profile to ensure the compact, captured look that is favored by the game’s best players.

FRICTION FACE
Fully machined, steeper wheel-cut grooves plus added texture from a new Emery face blast ensure consistent launch conditions and spin from wet and dry conditions for predictable results.

SPECIAL GRINDS
New stock “S” and “T” grinds allow you to be custom fit for the loft/grind combination that suits your angle of attack and most common turf conditions. Custom grinds are available through PING Wrx.
S Grind
Moderate bounce, rounded lead edge, broadest appeal.
T Grind
Narrower sole, approx. 3° less bounce than S, high versatility.
EYE2 TOE 59°
Karsten Solheim’s iconic high-toe shaping has approximately 1.5° less bounce than S grind and creates a look at address that has appealed to generations of golfers.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES:
-Precision forged
-Shotmaker’s profile
-Machined face and grooves
-Friction face w/Emery blast finish
