Morton Golf Foundation Sponsors Youth on Course Golf Program

Youth on Course was founded in 2006 as a charitable arm of the Northern California Golf Association.

The core purpose of YOC has been to provide youth ages 6 – 18 with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.  This non-profit subsidizes rounds of golf at over 1,400+ golf courses nationwide.

They also provide $250,000.00 annually in college scholarships.

Any junior golfer that is a member of Youth on Course can play either golf course at Haggin Oaks after 1:00 p.m., 7 days a week, for $3.00 per 9-holes & $5.00 per 18-holes.

All juniors that are members of the First Tee of Greater Sacramento automatically are a member of Youth on Course.

Please feel free to go to their website www.youthoncourse.org to sign-up, apply for a scholarship or find ways to give.

Brick Donation

Recently, Morton Golf Foundation purchased a brick to support the YOC. If you are interested in donating to be placed at the NCGA entrance at Poppy Hills Golf Course, it is $250 per brick.

Junior Play Card

Another way a junior can receive golf discounts at Haggin Oaks is to purchase an annual Junior Play Card for $30.00 per junior at Haggin Oaks Pro Shop.

This allows juniors to play FREE when playing with 1 paid adult fee per junior.  The only fee would be if the junior rides with an adult.

Junior cost to play (with a Junior Play Card) without 1 paid adult is $10.00 to walk and $15.00 to ride per 9-holes or $20.00 to walk and $30.00 to ride for 18-holes.
