Mike Woods recently sat down with Kitty O’Neal from The Afternoon News to talk about the Sacramento Golf Council.

“It all began in the 1950’s when the golf courses were struggling to run tournaments for the community of amateur golfers in the Sacramento area. Tom LoPresti, the original Golf Pro at Haggin Oaks, decided to create the Sacramento Golf Council, a group of 30 golf enthusiasts that put on a huge calendar of events.”
