I don’t quite understand how to enter for the bag and balls. All the items would certainly improve my golf game. I appreciate your coverage and generosity.

Tried to tough lie 360 board at the Hagan Oaks range last week it was quite enlightening. Recent wet weather curtailed activity at the range and the course but having the whole place to myself was lots of fun.

Morton Golf and staff are the best! One has to get away from Sacramento to appreciate what we have at Haggin Oaks and the other courses Morton manages.

  4. Bill Erbes says: | Reply

Wow a lot of cool stuff!
When will we be able to rent a jet pack at Haggin Oaks?
It will definitely speed up the rounds…

Haven’t seen much in the lines of groundbreaking products this year. Though much hype. Only item that catches my interest is the Taylor Made 770 irons

Thought I’d be in love with the new Toulon Indianapolis Putter until I saw on the carbon fiber on it. Think I’ll have to pass and look closer at the PXG putters.

I always love seeing new products come to market. Especially very innovative, different things. I’m a techy so I love all the new putter stuff.

Good afternoon Mr Morton. 50 years ago you were just starting out as a PGA pro and gave me my first golf lessons. Later 1966 to 1969 I worked as the driving range kid at bing maloney golf course under Bus Pentelton Tom Doris and Ken Gorman. I still carry the bag and walk the course. Thanks for introducing me to the sport of a lifetime. Dr Creighton Chow son of optometrist Dr Courtland Chow. Let me know if you received this message.

    • Morton Golf says: | Reply

Hi Dr. Chow – I communicated with Ken Sr. and he asked me to let you know that he remembers you, Courtland and mother Molly. He is especially pleased you are still playing the great game of golf and hopes you will come to Haggin Oaks someday to say hello and catch up. Thank you, Danielle

Going to the expo at Haggin Oaks makes me really want to experience the PGA expo some day. How about a contest to take a loyal customer next year!

I like the bike! how is it for stability on a grass subgrade? In other words, does it have a suitable “kick stand” to keep it from falling over on soft/uneven lies?

Noticed the supershop is now displaying PX Chi irons. Will the fitting center be offering custom fittings for these irons? Also Excel golf is producing a single length iron said well Hagan Oaks be offering/fitting these clubs?

  15. Bill says: | Reply

Looks like a lot of updates on golf ball technology (titliest, taylormade, etc.).
Can’t wait for the Haggin Oaks Expo to see if I should make a change.

  16. Gay Wold says: | Reply

While driving on Hwy 80 from Discovery Bay to my son’s home in Rocklin, I periodically stop by your “candy store”. Can’t wait to see what you buy at the Expo!

Kelli’s instruction is not just for kids: In my Haggin Oaks lessons, I have found Kelli Corlett to be a capable, friendly, and intuitive instructor. That reminds me, it’s time to get back to honing my skills!

Somehow I’m guessing that the Donald Trump headcover should stay at home with the red tee shirt. Let’s all be friends on the golf course.

As a Veteran and reading about what the PGA did for the Folds of Honor group I think is an extremely classy move! You have chosen to honor those that have paid the ultimate price for defending our country and I applaud you for it and I thank you so very much for it!

I’m a titleist prov1 fan, but I gotta say their new balls are no different than competitors which is a shame. I wish they would go back to the original prov1 in my opinion best performing ball. Who really cares about extra durable covers and gaining 5 extra yards. i feel the new prov1 balls lost performance around the greens that’s where it counts for me.

  23. Mark Odom says: | Reply

Golf is a great game to test your ability to concentrate over and over.
And Titleist Pro V’s are a great ball to do that.

Got a love those new under armour shoes. Pair them up with some new loudmouth pants and I’m ready for the next version of Caddyshack .

It looks like glow golf has come a long way. Back in the day we had several evening tournaments on the arcade Creek course using just a glow ball. Looking forward to trying it again . It definitely challenges your perception, quite different from hitting the ball in the daytime

    • Morton Golf says: | Reply

Hi Logan, Both are excellent new products and should be tried side-by-side through our free trial program at the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop. -Thanks, Ken Morton Jr.
