In the world of junior golf, Jaden Dumdumaya stands out as a true up and comer. Currently a Senior at De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. His journey to success continues to reach new heights. He overcame a 5-shot deficit to emerge victorious at the 2024 McClure Cup held at the Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, CA.

The Triumph at McClure Cup

Jaden played a remarkable round of golf at the 54-hole stroke play event, the McClure Cup. The competition, open to men with an index not exceeding 7.4, proved to be a challenging test for participants. Undeterred, Jaden showcased his prowess by shooting an impressive 5 under 211 with rounds of 72-71-68. He then secured a one-shot margin victory therefore winning the 2024 McClure Cup.

A Journey of Excellence

Jaden Dumdumaya’s journey in junior golf has been nothing short of extraordinary. His previous accolades include being ranked in the top 1% of the Junior Golf Scoreboard Global rankings and placed in the top 5% of the AJGA Junior Rolex ranking. In 2023, he also proudly represented the Philippines in the National Men’s Golf Player at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, standing out as the sole junior player on the team.

Jaden also made history as the youngest player in 98 years to clinch victory at the 2022 California State Fair Tournament held on the MacKenzie Golf Course at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, Ca. These accomplishments reflect his dedication, skill, and determination to excel in the sport.

Looking Ahead

As Jaden closes out his high school career he will begin his next chapter in his golfing career at USC in the fall. There’s no doubt that he will continue to leave a mark on the golfing world.
