Featuring new revolutionary Jailbreak Technology, the Rogue from Callaway is more powerful and more forgiving than ever before.
To dramatically change driver performance, you have to dramatically change driver dynamics. That’s what inspired Callaway R&D to break away from their own industry-leading metalwood design protocol to once again re-invent the driver. Callaway has taken the revolutionary technologies that made their GBB Epic the best-selling driver in the U.S.* and supercharged them to create Rogue, a driver that combines all Callaway knows about boosting ball speed with a new, MOI-enhancing shape that delivers extraordinary forgiveness.
Industry-leading ball speed comes from what Callaway is calling “The Jailbreak Effect.” First, they enhanced their revolutionary Jailbreak technology with new, hourglass-shaped titanium bars that are 25% lighter. They still fulfill their ability to stiffen the crown and sole and to minimize crown and sole deflection at impact. That allows for a thinner face and better energy-transfer to the ball, to promote faster ball speed. Next, their enhanced X-Face VFT face architecture thickens and thins strategic areas of the face to promote higher ball speeds on off-center impacts and consistently high ball speed and long distance overall.
Rogue’s new and more forgiving 460cc shape boasts a larger address footprint than Epic, encouraging golfers to relax, cut loose and make a free and fast swing. Rogue’s extreme forgiveness is also made possible by Callaway’s incredibly light and strong triaxial carbon crown, which allows more weight to be distributed into the head’s perimeter to increase stability on off-center hits.
Golfers will never stop thirsting for more ball speed and forgiveness. Callaway has given them what they want by going Rogue.
Rogue Fairway Wood
Rogue fairway woods are the first fairways with Jailbreak technology, and they also incorporate Callaway’s renowned Face Cup technology. Together, these are the two most effective speed-enhancing technologies Callaway has ever developed, and they make Rogue the most powerful fairways they’ve ever created.
“The challenge was to make these technologies work together,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell. “That technological synergy is what makes Rogue fairways an engineering marvel, and an absolute powerhouse.” In addition to power, Rogue fairways also feature an exceptionally low CG that makes them super-easy to launch, plus they’re extremely versatile – the total package.
