The power of positivity: How Modesto Junior College’s women’s golf team won the state championship
The women’s Modesto Junior college golf team has taken home the title of best community college women’s team in the state.
The head coach told KCRA 3 this is the second time in four years that the team secured the state win. Teammates, brimming with pride, showed off their trophies and smiles after beating out all other community colleges in California. The win, the team credits to positive thinking.
Timber Creek captures second straight Rose Cup
Like many traditions in 2020, the annual Rose Cup golf tournament was canceled.
The annual Ryder Cup-like tournament among the four Roseville golf courses resurfaced this year, allowing 48 elated golfers to grind it out for 36 holes on the second weekend of November.
