RememberAVet.net Wreath Project

Support the Wreath Project and Participate in the 7th Annual RememberAVet.net Golf Tournament

Each year during the holiday season, the non-profit RememberAVet.net lays wreaths on the gravestones of veterans in order to honor them. Their mission is to ensure that each grave site at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery is recognized and honored during the holiday season. They are able to do this by securing donations to purchase boughs, They also would like to raise awareness about the wreath project and inspire organizations across the nation to do wreath projects at their nearest National Cemetery. This will be the 17th year that RememberAVet.net has organized the wreath project, as they started in 2006. Learn more or make a donation today at RememberAVet.net.

More about National Cemeteries

National Cemeteries provide burial space for Veterans and their eligible family members. National cemeteries are shrines that are sacred to the honor and memory of those interred or memorialized there. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is in charge of all National Cemeteries and is part of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The NCA mission originated around the civil war era and has grown ever since. Today they maintain 155 national cemeteries in the United States and its territories. As previously mentioned, RememberAVet.net would like to see the wreath project at national cemeteries across the country and hope to inspire by implementing it at their local national cemetery.
