Lower Strokes on Your Golf Game with this Putting Drill

Here’s this week’s tip to help you improve your game. Remember, I want to hear from you! Leave a comment telling us if this drill works for you and stay tuned for next week’s game improvement tip!

CIRCLE DRILL
This one can be done on an actual green or on your carpet. Select a target on the floor/green. Now place 8 golf balls around the target. The first one should only be about a foot away from the target. Continue laying down balls with each one about 6″ to 1 foot further back from the previous one. The balls should be placed along a expanding “circular” path that moves away and around the target. Practice starting with the closest ball and do not take too much time before each putt. Now, reset the balls and reverse the series by starting with the ball farthest away.

Putting drills are something you can practice just about anywhere, because you don’t need a lot of room. You basically just need a smooth surface with a true roll.  Today’s drill will improve your confidence on the green.
