Employee Spotlight: Don Pottle

Don Pottle has developed a significant and loyal clientele in the Northern California Region. His success is attributed to his professional and interpersonal skills and innovative teaching techniques.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and a graduate of Burdett College in Boston, MA, Don has been playing golf since the age of 12.

In 1993 after an extensive business career as a corporate manager and trainer, Don entered the golf business and joined the Haggin Oaks Team in 1996, and became a Certified Teaching Professional in 1997.

His extensive knowledge of the golf swing, short game, green reading skills, and the many facets of the game was developed at numerous Golf Schools, NCPGA Player Development Workshops, and PGA Teaching and Coaching Seminars conducted by some of the world’s most acclaimed Golf Professionals:

  • Butch Harmon – Dave Stockton
  • Dave Pelz – Jim Hardy – Michael Breed
  • Hank Haney – Jim McLean
  • Ken Morton, Sr – James Sieckmann
  • David Leadbetter – Michael McTeigue

With personalized instruction, practice, patience, and desire, any golfer regardless of age or ability can enjoy the challenge of becoming a better player.
