Knowing Golf is a Continuous Journey is Key For Success
Kirsten loves golf because it creates strong friendships and valuable family time. Later, she earned an athletic scholarship to Cal Poly State University at San Luis Obispo for the Women’s Golf Team. Here, Kirsten combined her love for golf and the great outdoors by majoring in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration with a concentration in Special Event Planning and Sports Management. While playing at Cal Poly, Kirsten had 22 Top Twenty finishes, which tied the school record.
Since Kirsten played many sports as a child, the idea of proper body alignment and awareness has been prominent in many ways, especially relating to golf. Playing golf with the correct athletic positions and knowing that this is a continuous journey is what inspires Kirsten to help others. She enjoys sharing the fundamental golf skills, athletic positions and body awareness that she learned as a junior to those that she meets at the course. She is passionate about teaching golf to all and believes that it is a sport that everyone can truly enjoy.
Kirsten has special experience working with The First Tee of Greater Sacramento, Special Olympics of San Luis Obispo, Saving Strokes, and the California Eagles.
