Dylan Rafdal Professional Clubfitter

Dylan started playing golf in 1995 and quickly fell in love with the challenge of the game. After being an “average” player for a several years he and his wife moved to Sacramento. Shortly thereafter he got a job at Haggin Oaks as a cashier in 2000. After 2 years of working on his game and taking lessons he passed the PGA of America’s playing ability test and became a PGA Apprentice Golf Professional. Dylan has extensive training in club-fitting from all the major golf club manufacturers, as well as the launch monitor manufacturers such as Vector and Trackman.
Dylan believes that club-fitting is a bit of an art form and that technology serves a huge purpose in the club-fitting process, but also that a fitter needs to be willing to think outside the box and not be limited to a set of parameters that are not perfect for every swing.
Dylan is of the belief that teaching has a role in the club-fitting process. He believes that basic fundamentals such as set-up, tempo and balance should be important in everyone’s swing whether it is “textbook” or just unique.
