SENIOR GOLF

Senior Golf has always been a major segment of the golfing population who play the City of Sacramento Golf Courses.  For that reason, there are several senior programs in place to serve senior golfers. 

CAPITAL CITY SENIOR DISCOUNT RATE
Any person presenting proof they are the age of 55 and older will be considered a Senior Golfer and will receive discounted golf rates as per the rate schedules posted at the City of Sacramento Golf Courses.

SENIOR GOLF LESSONS
Any senior who is 55 or older is entitled to senior discount rates on private golf lessons.  Senior golf lesson rates are posted in the golf shops or in Adult Golf Lesson Brochures at the golf courses. 

SENIOR MEALS
In addition to daily specials there are senior meal deals priced on the menus at each of the golf courses for seniors 55 years and older. 

SENIOR HOME CLUB MEMBERSHIPS
The Sacramento has memberships for senior golfers and they host special week day events for senior play throughout the year.  For senior women, Haggin Oaks provides home clubs that are mostly comprised of senior ladies that play weekdays as listed under WOMENS’S GOLF on this website.

SENIOR GROUPS AND LEAGUES
A senior organization who has several chapters in the area and who schedules several events at all of the City of Sacramento Golf Courses throughout the year is a group called Son’s in Retirement (SIR’S) Groups.  If you have an interest in joining a Sir’s Group please see out tournament coordinators and they will provide you with the contact person representing the various groups who play our courses. 

SENIOR TOURNAMENTS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Sacramento region is extremely senior friendly and holds several outstanding Senior Championships.  You may find a schedule of these events and more if you check at the golf shops in the Sacramento Golf Council Tournament Brochure Stands or by calling Capital City Golf at 916-433-6307.
