MeredithLoosse_1Meredith grew up in Cupertino, California, and started golfing with three neighbors from her street at Blackberry Farm Golf Course at the age of 7. She knew that golf would be part of her life for a long time. She played golf for the University of Kentucky in the early 90’s and studied Business Administration. Meredith’s passion is teaching and helping golfers understand this complex game in a fun environment.

In 2002, Meredith moved from the beautiful west coast of California to the east coast. Wanting to do something different, she was hired as the Associate Professional at Farmington Country Club, in Charlottesville, VA for nine years. She learned the “Country Club” scene and believes in the true meaning of a friendly atmosphere and customer service. Meredith worked with all levels of players while at Farmington.

MeredithLoosse_proIn 2011, Meredith became the Director of Instruction & Director of the Robins Junior Golf Program at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, VA. The program allowed her to spend time with juniors ages from 4 to 18 for 12 months a year. Raising the participation by over 46% in one year, she knew she found her passion in helping children. Creating fun and educational programs that would help children love the game of golf was her mission. Also during the time at Independence, Meredith was able to mentor 24 PGA/PGM students from many different schools. The ability to give back to the group of young professionals was truly special to Meredith. She knows that she has helped their professional careers but also has made life long friendships. While at the Robins Junior Program, Meredith received the 2013 Middle Atlantic PGA Youth Development award and was nominated for the 2014 Middle Atlantic PGA Teacher of the Year.

In March of 2014, Meredith became the Head Golf Professional at Glenmore Country Club, in Keswick, Virginia. Her passion for growing the game resulted in new fun programs for children and adults. During her first year at Glenmore, she received recognitions from the LPGA and US Kids Golf.
