Step 6: Playing Makes Perfect – On Course Instruction $119.95 per student

New this fall is an intermediate player program that takes place on-course called, “Playing Makes Perfect”. This program is focused on etiquette and pace of play, but mostly on taking the next leap of lowering your scores through learning to keep statistics, strategy and course management. The program will consist of two coaches, maximum of 12 participants and will run for 3 weeks. All 9-hole green fees will be included in the price as well as a small bucket of range balls and light snacks for after each round.

Step 7: Private Lessons

Morton Golf recommends private lessons from one of our Class A PGA or LPGA Golf Professionals when you get serious about your game and/or want to improve specific areas of your game.  INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED GOLF occurs when you are able to play golf well enough that you can complete 18 holes of play and feel comfortable that you don’t hold up golfers who play behind you.

Usually this point comes when men golfers start shooting between 100 and 110 for a regulation 18 hole golf course and women start shooting between 110 to 120 on the same course from the women’s tee markers.  Of course, many new golfers decide to take private lessons as beginners or after the beginning class lessons.

If you plan on taking a series or more of private lessons, the golf coaches at Haggin Oaks will design a step by step plan together with you so you have achievable and realistic goals from your lessons.  Private lessons are also available by the hour in family or small groups of up to four students.
