Stay Cool with FREE Ice Towels

On Hot Summer Days, we are passing out FREE Ice Towels for our golfers to cool off on Alister MacKenzie’s 8th and 13th hole!

HO - Ice Towels

Now through September 15, when you play golf on Alister MacKenzie enjoy a cool down with FREE ice towels. Sacramento summers are extremely warm and we want to make sure you are comfortable while playing golf at Haggin Oaks.

We have a whole station dedicated to making you cooler. Each morning we will pack wrapped towels into a iced filled cooler for out on the course. On the 8th and and 13th holes there will be a little station where you will be greeted by friendly Haggin Oaks employees passing out these wonderful FREE towels. Also, if you tend to start play golf around the 10-11am time, typically it is not hot enough to need a nice cooling towel in the beginning of your round. However, by hole 8 and 13 you will be loving this FREE service.

The MacKenzie Golf Course is, without a doubt, the player’s course at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. Designed by the mastermind behind Augusta National and measuring a respectable 6,991-yards from the back tees, this 73-year-old track, originally designed by world renowned architect, Alister MacKenzie, is a true test of golf for the low handicapper.

For those golfers out there who are more interested in a tamer test of their skills, the middle tees play to 6,542-yards and the forward tees offer a softer challenge at a mere 6,057-yards. Whatever tee you play from, you’ll be treated to a great escape from the heart of the city and the concrete jungle as you play among the stately heritage oaks along the plush bent grass greens and fairways of the MacKenzie Course.
