Play Like a Champion at William Land Golf Course June 24 – June 28

If you want to experience a more difficult course layout, similar to those played by PGA Tour Champions, then book your next tee time at William Land Golf Course June 24-28, 2015 during the U.S. Senior Open week.

With the Senior Tour players in town for the Senior Championship at Del Paso Country Club beginning June 22, we thought it would be fun to give recreational golfers a sampling of the more difficult course conditions that are put in place during a championship round of golf. How would you like to get a glimpse of how a golf course is set up during a championship round?

From Wednesday, June 24 through Sunday, June 28, the William Land Golf Course is offering recreational golfers championship conditions.

What does this mean? Come out this week and try firmer and faster conditions on the course. The tee blocks will be set back on the appropriate tee boxes (red, white and black) and the new tees on holes #4 and #8 will be open for play. Some pins will be tucked near the edge or near a slope on the greens and the rough will by slightly higher wherever possible.

William Land Golf Course is located inside William Land Park’s 160 acres in the same park where the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town are located. If you are looking for fun activities to pursue while in town for the Senior Championship Tournament at Del Paso Country Club, William Land Park is the ideal location to visit with friends and family.
