New Position Changes at the Morton Golf Properties

Morton Golf operates four golf courses in the Sacramento region – Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney, Bartley Cavanaugh and William Land Golf Courses and is excited to announce four key position changes.

Hank Vereschzagin has been the General Manager at the William Land Golf Course for the past two years and will be returning to Haggin Oaks as a Golf Professional. Hank will coach and fit full time in the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop. Teaching and fitting are where Hank’s true passion lies, and where he excels with his customers. He has done a great job running the William Land Golf Course facility under The First Tee of Greater Sacramento’s lease with the City of Sacramento. As Morton Golf recently assumed the lease at the William Land Park Golf Course, Hank wanted to pursue his love of coaching and fitting. Morton Golf is excited to welcome Hank back at Haggin Oaks and knows he is going to grow the game and create many wonderful long-term customer relationships through his love of the game. To schedule a lesson or club fitting with Hank, contact the Golf Concierge at 916-808-2531.

Rob Seney has been the Lead Coach for Youth, Family, and Adaptive Golf at William Land Golf Course and will also be coming to Haggin Oaks as a Golf Professional, where he will coach and fit full time in the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop. Rob has worn many hats during his multiple years at William Land Golf Course, including Tournament Director, Lead Coach and Interim Manager. Everyone at Morton Golf is proud of the job Rob has done and for the commitment he has shown during his time at the William Land Golf Course. Similar to Hank, Rob has found his true passion lies in player development space and there is no better place in the country to grow within this area than Haggin Oaks. We greatly look forward to seeing Rob thrive in this new environment focused solely on player development!

Tyler Brown was a newer Golf Professional at Haggin Oaks, but has been serving the golf industry in Northern California for over 14 years. During his time at Haggin Oaks, he focused on coaching and fitting customers. Tyler will assume the role of General Manager at William Land Golf Course. Tyler, a PGA Member, has a strong background in golf operations, having been the Head Golf Professional at Granite Bay CC and Saddle Creek Golf Club, to name just a few. He is excited to take on this new challenge and looks forward to growing rounds of golf and participation at Sacramento’s oldest golf course! Joe is a recent Professional Golf Management graduate at Methodist University and is a PGA Member. Joe’s new role will mainly include leading and coaching youth, adaptive and adult programming at both Bing Maloney and William Land Golf Courses.
