Kickoff Summer at our Youth and Family Golf Night June 23, Featuring Miguel Angel Jimenez and Mark Calcavecchia

Youth and Family Golf Night, presented by PING Golf, is scheduled Tuesday, June 23 at Haggin Oaks from 5:30 to 8pm and features guest appearances by Miguel Angel Jimenez and Mark Calcavecchia.

Youth and Family Golf Night at Haggin Oaks is FREE to the public and will be packed with activities for golfers of all ages from 5:30 pm until 8 pm. The first 200 attendees will receive a FREE Jr Iron.

Teaching professionals from Haggin Oaks will conduct free short game clinics and full swing lessons. Athletic skills stations will also be set up for participants to either learn or to improve their golf game. Bring your clubs or try your new iron on the driving range with FREE range balls from 5:30pm until 8pm too! We will have prize giveaways during the evening including FREE enrollment in one of our junior golf camps.

Special guest appearances from Miguel Angel Jimenez and Mark Calcavecchia brought to you by PING Golf. To kick off Youth and Family Golf Night we will have a Q & A session beginning at 5:30pm with Miguel Angel Jimenez and Mark Calcavecchia. Immediately following the Q & A, Jimenez and Calcavecchia will be available for autographs and photos inside the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop until 7:00pm.

Miguel Angel Jimenez’s nickname is “The Mechanic” for his love of driving high performance vehicles. He is also known as “The Most Interesting Man in Golf”. He has 21 European Tour wins and 33 professional wins. See him at Haggin Oaks during his U.S. Senior Open week at Del Paso CC.

Mark Calcavecchia is another great personality with a very impressive resume featuring 31 Professional wins, including the 1989 British Open Championship. Recently, he won the Champions Tour Principle Charity Classic wearing the famous bacon pants.

We have a variety of classes to fit the needs of all juniors, whether they are just starting or are an intermediate golfer. Children will learn the rules of golf, spend time working on their short game, full swing, athletic ability and have the opportunity to play!
