TaylorMade has new technology and made some significant improvements on their driver. Dave Kolarick talks in details about what exactly they have done. TaylorMade has improved the sliding track, most importantly they improved where the center of gravity is positioned in the club head.  The weight is low and forward in the head, to promote high launch and low spin.  The goal of TaylorMade is 17 degrees of launch angle and 17 rpms of back spin.

SLDRTaylorMade wanted to educate golfers on how to adjust the weight  on their drivers. Through research, they found that customers were not familiar with how to adjust the weight on the back of the previous model of the club. Therefore, many customers were not fully utilizing the technology available in the equipment. The TaylorMade SLDR driver addresses these issues with clear etching of “FADE” and “DRAW” to address player’s flight patterns on this driver.
