The Bertha Mini 1.5 might make you rethink your bag, because it’s exactly what you need for so many shots in your round.

480-Bertha-Mini

Who could use a Bertha Mini 1.5 in their bag? That’s easy, you and every other golfer. This is a new type of weapon off the tee for high swing speed players and low swing speed players alike, with all the features that you love about a driver (like high MOI) built into the body of a bigger fairway wood. It’s longer off the tee than Callaway’s traditional 3-wood, and the head is 35% larger than the XR Fairway Wood to give you forgiveness and confidence when you’re standing over the ball.

The Bertha Mini has a shaft that’s 2” shorter than a driver shaft, and a cambered Warbird Sole to make it easy to hit. If you struggle with your driver, or you like having another reliable option when you’re staring down a tight par-4 or par-5, this is your club. And if you’re a better player who wants to hit it long off the fairway, this is your club.

Features & Benefits

More MOI Than Callaway’s Typical 3-Wood
Off the tee, it’s a better option for players. It has higher MOI from a 235cc head that’s 35% larger than XR, and a shape that gives you confidence over the ball.

It has high ball speed too from a Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup, low spin off the tee, and a Forged Composite crown. And the 44” shaft length (2” shorter than a typical driver shaft) and the cambered Warbird Sole make it easy to hit. You’re getting all the best features of a driver in the framework of a larger fairway wood.

Long Off The Fairway For Better Players
If you have a high swing speed, you can play this off the deck if you’re in the fairway for high speed and amazing distance. You know that long Par-5 you’ve been trying to reach in two? You might be able to get home now.

Adjustability To Fit Your Shot Selection
Depending on how you want to play it, the Bertha Mini 1.5 can be a replacement driver, a longer option off the tee than a 3-wood, or a club that’s playable off the fairway. That’s why it has an OptiFit Hosel to tune to your settings. Choose from 8 different combinations for your loft (-1, S, +1, +2) and lie angle (Draw or Neutral) configurations.

Callaway’s Big Bertha Mini 1.5 comes in two lofts (12 and 14 degrees) and will be available May 29 for $300 with Mitsubishi Rayon’s Kuro Kage Silver TiNi shaft.
